BOL, Croatia – Top seed Tamara Zidansek authored a successful title defense at the Croatia Bol Open on Sunday.
The Slovenian rallied in both sets to defeat No.2 seed Sara Sorribes Tormo, 7-5, 7-5, to win her second career WTA 125 series title.
The top seed pulled off an incredible comeback against teenaged compatriot Kaja Juvan in Saturday’s semifinals, rallying from 4-0 and 5-3 down in the third set, and needed to again rally in Sunday’s final.

She lost serve four times in the opener, and trailed 4-2 and 5-4 as the Spaniard served for the set, but won the last three games to take the lead after over an hour of play.
