Veteran NBA forward Torrey Craig is in advanced talks to join the Sydney Kings of the Australian NBL. Craig would sign a rest-of-season contract with the Kings. Sydney is currently looking for reinforcements for a team that is third place in the NBL standings.
If the deal comes to fruition, it would be Craig’s second stint in the NBL. The 6-foot-5 forward previously played with the Cairns Taipans and Brisbane Bullets from 2014 to 2017.
Craig finished last season with the Boston Celtics. The 35-year-old veteran has also played for the Denver Nuggets, Milwaukee Bucks, Phoenix Suns, Indiana Pacers and Chicago Bulls over eight NBA season.
