Tennessee surged late and landed their guy.
Legend Bey committed to the Volunteers, who edged out the in-state Texas A&M Aggies for the speedy four-star ATH from Mesquite (Texas) North Forney High School, who Tennessee loves at wide receiver.
Tennessee took a significant leap forward after Bey’s official visit to Knoxville on June 13-15, his first time on campus.
Bey saw enough to declare for Kelsey Pope, Josh Heupel and the Vols on Saturday.
“The first time being there was exciting. Knoxville is beautiful in itself and I was very impressed by the culture of the players and the development with Coach Pope,” Bey said. “Tennessee was definitely a huge eye-opener. The visit was phenomenal. I had standards and they were definitely met here at Tennessee. The official visit was impressive. I enjoyed every part of it.”
