McClure’s top NBA DFS picks for Tuesday

For Tuesday, McClure is high on Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown ($6,200 on FanDuel, $6,400 on DraftKings). After signing a massive extension at the start of the year, Brown has taken his game to another level after averaging 13.0 points per game primarily as as sixth man last season. The 23-year-old wing is currently has career-highs in shooting percentage (49.1), free-throw percentage (75.1), points per game (20.0), rebounds (6.6), assists (2.3) and steals (1.2).

He’s also shooting 38.6 percent from the 3-point line and the respect defenders have to give him on the perimeter has created opportunities for Brown to get to the rim to draw contact. On Tuesday, Brown is matched up with the Heat, who he torched for 31 points back on Dec. 4.

Part of McClure’s optimal NBA DFS strategy on Tuesday also includes rostering Warriors big man Marquese Chriss ($4,500 on FanDuel, $4,300 on DraftKings), who has provided at least a 5.7x return in each of his last three games on both FanDuel and DraftKings. The former top-10 pick bounced around last season with the Rockets and the Cavaliers, but he seems to have found some consistency at Golden State and should see even more opportunities after Willie Cauley-Stein was traded to Dallas over the weekend.

Chriss is shooting a career-high 51.3 percent from the floor and averaging 7.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 0.9 blocks over the course of 17.6 minutes per game this season. Chriss has averaged nearly 20 minutes a night in his last three games and has scored in double-figures in each of those contests. On Friday, he was in the starting lineup and provided 13 points, three rebounds, two steals, two blocks and an assist for an over 7x return on both FanDuel and DraftKings. On Tuesday, he’ll take on a Sixers squad that ranks 16th in the NBA in DraftKings points allowed to PF/Cs.
