The Sacramento Kings are signing free agent big man Precious Achiuwa. To create the roster spot for Achiuwa, the Kings will waive forward/center Isaac Jones.
Achiuwa spent last season with the New York Knicks. The 6-foot-8 forward averaged 6.6 points and 5.6 rebounds in 20.5 minutes per game off the Knicks bench. Achiuwa spent the preseason with the Miami Heat before being waived ahead of the regular season.
Jones has appeared in 43 games with the Kings over a season-plus. Sacramento signed Jones last March, after the 6-foot-8 big man started the season on a two-way contract.
