The Phoenix Suns are signing point guard Jamaree Bouyea to a two-year, standard NBA contract. Bouyea has been with the Suns on a two-way contract this season.
Bouyea will fill the roster spot that was opened when the Suns waived guard Cole Anthony last week. Phoenix is adding some additional depth for a backcourt that has been hit by injuries throughout this season.
The 6-foot-2 point guard has appeared in 33 games for Phoenix this season. Bouyea has averaged 6.5 points for the Suns, along with solid defense.
