RIGHT BACK AT IT
The Warriors will catch their collective breath as they head right out of Oklahoma City to New Orleans for their Monday evening tilt against the Pelicans, wrapping-up the two-day, two-game road trip. These clubs will square off four times this season, with this game being the first of two New Orleans will host in one calendar month. The Dubs swept the season series last year 3-0 and have a 7-1 record over the Pelicans dating back through the 2018 Western Conference Semifinals.

LAST TIME OUT
A combination of a cold shooting performance from the Warriors and a 35-point second quarter by the Oklahoma City Thunder was too much for the Dubs to overcome as they dropped the Sunday afternoon game 120-92. Full Recap

BROTHER-IN-LAWS BRING THE HEAT
Stephen Curry and Damion Lee came to play when the Dubs squared-off against the Pelicans last season. In their first two meetings, Curry had stats lines of 37 points and nine assists in the first game on October 31, and just over two months later came back with an even larger 41-point outing on January 6; he led all scorers in both of those instances. The third time around between the Western Conference foes, Curry left the game early due to injury, leaving Lee with the opportunity to fill-in for his brother-in-law. By the end of the night, Lee led all reserves in points (20), rebounds (seven) and minutes (27). The duo combined for almost 33 points across those three games, and look for a possible repeat performance with Lee receiving more minutes through the young 2019-20 campaign.

NEW ORLEANS SCOUTING REPORT
Though the Pelicans have started the 2019-20 season 0-3, they have averaged over 120 points per game and lead the NBA in number of three-point shots taken and made. Though first-overall pick of the 2019 Draft Zion Williamson will reportedly miss several weeks with a knee injury, the team has a trio of former Lakers, acquired through the summer trade that sent Anthony Davis to Los Angeles, taking the lead in scoring for the team in his absence. Brandon Ingram (career-high 27.3 points per game, 9.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.7 blocks), Josh Hart (18), and Lonzo Ball (13.7). Though they, along with 10-year NBA veteran Derrick Favors, compose four-fifths of a new starting five for the Pelicans, remaining with the team through its transition is Jrue Holiday (10.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 7.0 assists) who is now in his seventh year with the franchise. Between the hot-shooting from Ingram and Hart, the distribution from Ball (6.7 assists) and Holiday, and athleticism Ingram brings to the frontcourt, the Pelicans have a variety of ways to challenge their opponents.
