Dorian Finney-Smith is closing in on making his Houston Rockets debut. That debut could potentially come in Houston’s Christmas Day matchup at the Los Angeles Lakers, as Finney-Smith was upgraded to questionable for the game.
Finney-Smith has yet to play for the Rockets after signing a four-year deal this past offseason. The veteran forward has been rehabbing from an offseason cleanup surgery on his ankle.
Debuting against the Lakers would be an interesting twist, as Finney-Smith finished last season with Los Angeles after a trade from the Brooklyn Nets. In the summer, Houston gave the nine-year veteran a four-year, $52.7 million contract.
