Domantas Sabonis has suffered a partially torn meniscus in his left knee and will be re-evaluated in three to four weeks. The Sacramento Kings have a 3-12 record to start the season and there has been an expectation they could pivot to a rebuild by the trade deadline.
Sabonis, who is signed through 2028, is averaging 17.2 points, 12.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 33.2 minutes over 11 games this season.
Sabonis was most recently an All-Star in 2023 when the Kings also made the playoffs.
Last week, it was reported that teams were showing interest in trading for Sabonis.
