Utah Jazz rookie forward Ace Bailey is dealing with tendonitis in both of his knees. Jazz coach Will Hardy said the team was being cautious when they removed Bailey from Monday’s preseason game.
“He’s got some tendonitis in both knees. It’s nothing that we’re overly concerned with,” Hardy said of Bailey. “He’s not going to be getting imaged or anything like that. It’s just trying to take care of him. He was a little sore during his second stint.”
Utah sees Bailey as a big part of their rebuilding team. The 6-foot-9 rookie forward started in each of the three preseason games he’s played. Bailey scored 25 and 20 points before tallying three points before exiting after just 10 minutes on Monday.
