The Denver Nuggets have continued to win games at a decent clip, despite going through an injury-plagued season. Now, Aaron Gordon looks set to return to the lineup later this week. The veteran forward is targeting playing on Friday against the New York Knicks.
Gordon has been out since January 23 after suffering a second hamstring strain this season. Gordon had previously missed 19 games with a strained hamstring, returned for 10 games and then went down again for the last six weeks.
The Nuggets will be cautious with Gordon, as they recognize the importance of having him healthy for the playoffs. Denver is also awaiting a return to play for Peyton Watson, who is also out with a strained hamstring.
