Kawhi Leonard broke the LA Clippers record for consecutive 20-point games, but the game did not end on a high note. Leonard exited the game with just over nine minutes to play in the fourth quarter, as he suffered a sprained left ankle. The Clippers went on to drop the game to the visiting Sacramento Kings.

The team offered no further information on Leonard’s injury beyond confirming it was a sprained ankle. There’s no indication at this point as to how much time the Clippers star could miss.
