It is not a “certainty” that the Sacramento Kings will try to trade Domantas Sabonis this summer, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line.
The Kings could hold onto Sabonis for next season depending on who they select in the upcoming draft.
Sabonis was an oft-rumored trade target leading up to this season’s deadline, with the Wizards and Raptors expressing interest.
Sabonis is currently out for the year due to a torn meniscus.
The Kings have the worst record in the league at 13-46.
