We’ve got ourselves a series out West. The Portland Trail Blazers won Game 2, 97-90, to even their series with the Denver Nuggets. The win was impressive, as Portland’s leading scorer, Damian Lillard, was held to just 14 points on 5-for-17 shooting. The Blazers received a full team effort to pull out the win, and now head home to try to take the series lead in Game 3.
The action continues with one game on Thursday — the series between the Toronto Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers shifts to Philly, with both teams looking to take a 2-1 lead in Game 3. After a solid Toronto victory in Game 1, the Sixers bounced back to come up with a big road win in Game 2. The winner of Game 3 will gain the momentum going forward.
