Knicks Sign Zak Irvin

NEW YORK, NY (October 17, 2019) – The New York Knicks announced today that the team has signed guard Zak Irvin to a contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Irvin, 6-6, 215-pounds, appeared in two games for the Knicks 2019 Summer League entry in Las Vegas, NV. He recorded two points, three rebounds and one assist over 10 minutes.

The Fishers, IN native played four seasons at the University of Michigan (2013-17) recording 11.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists over 29.7 minutes in 142 games (103 starts). He spent the last two seasons with the Westchester Knicks, the NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, holding averages of 11.0 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists over 31.9 minutes in 42 games (34 starts).

The Knicks roster now stands at 20 players under contract.
