How to watch Lakers vs. Nuggets: Live stream, TV channel, start time for Sunday’s NBA game

Who’s Playing

Denver @ Los Angeles

Current Records: Denver 46-32; Los Angeles 31-46

What to Know

The Denver Nuggets will take on the Los Angeles Lakers at 3:30 p.m. ET Sunday at Crypto.com Arena. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

The Nuggets were within striking distance but couldn’t close the gap this past Friday as they fell 136-130 to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Shooting guard Will Barton wasn’t much of a difference maker for Denver; Barton played for 31 minutes but put up just eight points on 3-for-12 shooting.

Meanwhile, it was all tied up 50-50 at halftime, but Los Angeles was not quite the New Orleans Pelicans’ equal in the second half when they met this past Friday. It was close but no cigar for the Lakers as they fell 114-111 to New Orleans. Despite the defeat, Los Angeles got a solid performance out of small forward LeBron James, who had 38 points in addition to eight boards. LBJ’s afternoon made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 36 points.

Denver is the favorite in this one, with an expected 5.5-point margin of victory. Now might not be the best time to take the Nuggets against the spread since they’ve let down bettors for the past two consecutive games.

Denver is now 46-32 while the Lakers sit at 31-46. Denver is 18-13 after losses this year, Los Angeles 21-24.
