HITTING THE ROAD
After their Opening Night loss at Chase Center, the Dubs hit the road for the first of two back-to-back road games. First up: a Sunday matinee against the Oklahoma City Thunder. This is will be the first of four matchups for the two Western Conference rivals, a series which the teams split last season 2-2. Stephen Curry played in three of those four games, filling-up the stat sheet with 32.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 6.0 assists.

LAST TIME OUT
The Warriors officially welcomed Dub Nation to their new home at Chase Center with a night of new faces, traditions and celebrations. The game, however, didn’t go the Warriors’ way, as the visiting Clippers opened the game with a 14-0 run and used a 46-point third quarter to pull away from the Dubs in a 141-122 Warriors defeat in Thursday’s season opener. ROAD WARRIORS
The Warriors are a riding a five-year streak in which they have won their first road game of the season. Dating back to October 29, 2014, the Dubs have beaten Western Conference rivals Sacramento Kings, Houston Rockets, New Orleans Pelicans (twice) and Utah Jazz in their first games away from home. Those matchups have included exciting performances from the Dubs, including two big nights from Curry. In the 2014-15 road opener against the Kings, Curry posted a 24-point, 10-rebound double-double (that included six steals as well) in a 95-77 win over their Northern California rival. In the Dubs’ first road game last season, Curry scored 31 points on 5-of-9 (55.6 percent) from beyond the arc in Utah on a night capped off by Jonas Jerebko’s game-winning, buzzer-beating tip-in. The squad will look to extend the streak as they enter Sunday’s game against the Thunder.

OKLAHOMA CITY SCOUTING REPORT
Though the Warriors have their fair share of new faces, the Thunder went through some major roster changes of their own this offseason. After 11 seasons in Oklahoma City, Russell Westbrook now plays in Houston, and fellow All-Star Paul George is now on the Clippers. The Thunder are left with several new additions to their team, including three starters. New to the club this season is 15-year veteran Chris Paul, along with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Danilo Gallinari who both played for the Clippers last season. All three posted 20-point games in their first matchup of the season, a 100-95 loss in Utah on Wednesday. Still ever-present at the center spot is Steven Adams, now in his seventh year with the Thunder; he is coming off a season in which he set career-highs in rebounds (9.5), assists (1.6), and steals (1.5) while matching his career mark in points (13.9).
