Five things to know about the Pelicans on Dec. 25, 2019

1)      New Orleans plays on Christmas for just the third time in franchise history Wednesday, facing Denver at 9:30 p.m. Central. The game will be broadcast locally by Fox Sports New Orleans, with pregame coverage at 9, as well as on 100.3 FM. Nationally, Pelicans-Nuggets will air on ESPN, the last of five Christmas games on ESPN or ABC. In team history, the Pelicans are 0-2, having dropped games in Florida to Orlando (2008) and Miami (2015). New Orleans is one of four NBA teams that have never hosted a game on Christmas.
