1)      Happy Festivus. New Orleans plays the third game of a four-game Western Conference road trip Monday, visiting Portland at 9 p.m. Central. Pregame TV and radio coverage begins at 8:30. The trek concludes on Christmas against Denver.

2)      The Pelicans will hold shootaround this morning at Moda Center in Portland. Check Pelicans.com later for coverage.

3)      Week 10 of the NBA schedule consists of only one opponent with a losing record (Portland tonight), followed by three straight foes that have been playing very well all season (Denver, Indiana and Houston). There is a weekend home/home back-to-back for the Pelicans in the Smoothie King Center, the only instance of that this season.

4)      There are no changes on the team’s injury report.
