Manchester United will host the Premier League champions Liverpool in the FA Cup fourth round.
Monday night’s draw pitched United into battle with Jürgen Klopp’s men and the encounter will take place just a week after Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s side take on Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday. The last time the Merseyside club won the FA Cup, in 2006, they beat United on the way to the final, winning 1-0 in the fifth round.
National League North side Chorley’s reward for their victory over a depleted Derby was a home tie with Premier League Wolves while Manchester City will head to League Two Cheltenham Town.
Tottenham, 5-0 third-round winners at Marine, are on the road again, with Championship strugglers Wycombe this time providing the opposition.
Chelsea host Championship side Luton Town while Sheffield United, who recorded their first win of the season at Bristol Rovers on Saturday, will play Plymouth Argyle.
Fulham take on Burnley in an all-Premier League matchup while League Two side Crawley Town, who upset Leeds United, are away at Bournemouth. The draw for the fifth round was also made on Monday, with the Premier League’s ‘Big Six’ avoiding match-ups against each other should they advance.
Should Chorley pull off a shock against Wolves, they could have another big date ahead of them after the fifth-round draw pitched the winners to face either Southampton, Shrewsbury or 14-time winners Arsenal.

Marine’s Kengni back to day job after day with Bale and co

On Sunday Neil Kengni gave Tottenham a scare when his shot hit the bar in the 20th minute of Marine’s FA Cup tie. On Monday he attended a Zoom tutorial on health and safety for his apprentice plumbing course from his home in Manchester.
The 20-year-old Kengni said he was still digesting his moment in the spotlight, describing it as “a bit surreal” to be playing against some of the top players in the world whom he would normally spend his weekends watching on TV. He recounts chatting to Dele Alli and Lucas Moura, describing them as “sound guys”.
The player from the eighth-tier club says he is “gutted” that his shot didn’t go in though, as he replays the moment over and over again. “I think I hit it too high.” He hopes the Marine players still made everyone proud, despite the eventual 5-0 defeat by Spurs, adding: “We still kept on going until the last minute.”
Kengni’s family moved from Cameroon to the UK when he was 10, settling in Wythenshawe, famously home to United’s Marcus Rashford, another hero of his. “Watching him grow through football to become one of the best players in the world is amazing. And hopefully, in God’s hands, I can do the same.” So Kengni hopes to follow in his footsteps?

Chorley manager Jamie Vermiglio told BBC Sport: “That’s what we really wanted, Premier League opposition, great. And there’s a bit of history because in 1986, Chorley played against Wolves at home and beat them 3-0, so we just need to do that again.”
Southampton’s third-round tie with Shrewsbury is yet to be decided after the game was called off when Shrewsbury reported Covid-19 cases in their squad.
The victors in the Manchester United v Liverpool showdown will face West Ham or Doncaster, while either Wycombe or Tottenham will travel to the winners of the Everton v Sheffield Wednesday tie.
