The Milwaukee Bucks have hired Zora Stephenson as the team’s new sideline reporter for Bucks games on FOX Sports Wisconsin and as the digital reporter for Bucks.com.

Stephenson comes to Milwaukee from Denver where she was an Emmy Award-winning news reporter and anchor at FOX31 and Colorado’s Own Channel 2. She started her career in 2015 as a reporter with WNCT-TV in Greenville, North Carolina and won the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas’ Reporter of the Year in 2016.

In addition to her work in television news, Stephenson was a broadcast analyst for the men’s and women’s basketball teams at Metropolitan State University of Denver and did both play-by-play and analyst work for the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s men’s basketball championship. She also worked with the Colonial Athletic Association as a sideline reporter, analyst and host during the conference’s basketball championships.

Originally from northern Virginia, Stephenson played four years of basketball at Elon University, an NCAA Division I school in North Carolina, where she holds the school record for single-season 3-point percentage. Stephenson was a three-year starter for the Phoenix and appeared in 121 games over four seasons with the team.

“Zora’s award-winning ability to report and ask insightful questions, along with her vast basketball experience and expertise, will be a great addition to Bucks games on FOX Sports Wisconsin and across our digital channels,” said Milwaukee Bucks and Fiserv Forum President Peter Feigin. “We’re confident she’s the right person to tell the story of Bucks basketball and the world-class Fiserv Forum. We look forward to her joining us in Milwaukee and for Bucks fans across the globe to get to know her.”

“It’s such an exciting time to be part of the Bucks organization, and I’m thrilled to be able to tell the stories surrounding this team and Fiserv Forum,” Stephenson said. “Basketball has always been a huge part of my life and what better way to continue that than with the Bucks family. This is a first-class organization throughout, from the players, to the coaches, executives and the fans. The sky is the limit for this city and team, and I can’t wait to get started in Milwaukee.”

“We are thrilled to have Zora join our Bucks broadcasts, she is a great communicator,” said Tony Tortorici, Executive Producer for FOX Sports Wisconsin. “I’m confident her energy and basketball knowledge will elevate our telecasts. We look forward to her contributions and the connections she’ll build with fans.”

Stephenson will join the Bucks broadcast team of Jim Paschke, Marques Johnson and Steve Novak. She will make her FOX Sports Wisconsin debut on Thursday, Sept. 12 as part of the regional sports network’s “Bucks Town Hall” show. The live telecast event will take place from 7-8 p.m. and will feature Bucks guard Sterling Brown, general manager Jon Horst, head coach Mike Budenholzer and Feigin.
